  • This composition is so calm and beautiful that it becomes tragic. For some reason I always think that it's about childhood. Beautiful and harmonic time, but tragic, because it's already gone. Flute parts make even stronger association with past, as if we are remembering something. Indeed ingenious!

  • There isn't a Philip Glass piece I've heard that I have not loved! <3

  • Mi riporta indietro nel tempo quando ero bambino con nostalgia e un po' di tristezza per il tempo passato.

  • I went to performance of Brazilian Groupo Corpo , which uses this music as a soundtrack for dances. It was just terrific experience from combination of the music and magic and charming performance of the Group Corpo! I felt in love with them!!!!

  • @bl4st3r Thank you for clearing that up!

  • @Cuinnandstuff I've seen them live today and they use a regular flute. The other instruments are glass made marimbas and plastic (pvc) pipes for percussion.

  • i like that some of the a's used in this are 440, and others 445 hz

  • Vale lembrar que o UAKTI é um grupo mineiro, que produz peças musicais lindíssimas, inspiradas nas montanhas de Minas Gerais. Sua criatividade instrumental é dos pontos altos do grupo.

  • Is there a marimba and a xylophone in this piece?
