Haven't any of you seen the movie Ben Hur? Remember how the slaves were the rowing 'engines' for the Roman navy? That was even more efficient as there were less losses to contend with!

This is fabulous. It would be cool for gyms to hook up the stationary bikes in their spinning classrooms to help power their buildings (pipe dream, I know, but still cool to think about).
