Best point was from a bloke who said effectively the charge wouldn't really matter as it was a small amount compared to parking charges. Think there are a lot of people in that position and it's a good idea to get the extra contribution from them that we will get from the charge.

yes! Bring it in! I commute from Salford (West Central Manchester) to Bury (North Central Manchester) and it's about 10 miles, not only does it take an hour, but I also go at an average speed of about 10mph! Plus, the traffic is very loud round Central Manchester - for god's sake - beeping your car horn wont help!! You'll just have to wait in the ques lol!
