Actually I was talking about both, locals and tourists.
We do not have a specific "rainy season" in Rio... but usually November is not a rainy month.
During the summer... (december to march) we usually have the "summer rain".... that are very strong but really quick... it usually takes less than 15 minutes per day. The winter is usually more dry.
It´s a difficult question because the weather conditions here vary a lot.
When you say "People are usually on vacation on January and February, so the beaches can be really full" will the beaches be more full of tourists or Brazilians? I'm just wondering because I dont really want to go when there are alot of tourists there. Thats why I picked November to go. But I dont want to go in November if its going to rain everyday. Thats why I was wondering. Thank you for your fast replies. Tchau.
The seasons weather variation is smaller than in the USA. If you spend a week in Rio for example, in any time of the year... you probably see some different weather conditions. It´s kind of rare for we to have more than 3 or 4 days with the same weather conditions, especially on spring and fall.
Marcio, I'm just wondering how the weather is for going to the beaches of Rio in November. Is that a rainy month where you live? Is it hot in that month and do people go to the beaches alot then? I'm just wondering because I will be in Rio next November and I didnt know what to expect. Thank you for these videos. Later, Matt
- Yes, it´s a burned car wreck. Looks like there was a accident there. Sometimes it lasts a while for the autorities to take the car wrecks out of the roads.
- Actually I was not "uneasy" about any thung... that place is really safe, it´s like a very small town. I just didn´t know where to look at, it´s weird to film yourself in front of other people :)
Well, another gorgeous picture-postcard from Marcio! -- another wonderful one!! Thanks heaps!
And, as always, with some lovely songs :)
I actually like cloudy days at the seaside... I guess that's because you're bound to get your deal of those when spending your holiday on the Baltic seaside. Well, Baltic is nothing to shout about even on a sunny day :D
- Is that a burned car wreck at 4.47 ?!
- You look uneasy walking with the camera on the beach -- could there be some thugs?
When we have a sequence of rainy days it usually last less than a week, and than we have sunny days again.
So I think it is going to depend on the luck :)

Like any other tropical weather.. it varies a lot.. it´s common, for example, in the same week, to have sunny, cloundy and rainy weather.
November is usually hot. People usually go tothe beach a lot.. they just need a sunny day :)
We can have a very hot day during the winter, for example, and you´ll see a lot of people on the beach.
People are usually on vacation on January and February, so the beaches can be really "full".

- Really? Look just cloudy for me :)
- People say that "Atlantic Forest" has more species than "Amazon Forest".
- An authentic "bad" soccer game hehehe
- Only crazy people like me go to the beach in cloudy weather here :)
Thank you Daniel!

-Even the cloudy days are still beautiful.
-I noticed that you have different trees down there.
-Ooh! An authentic game of futebol!
-Shouldn't there be more people at a beach?
When you're used to Iowa weather, even a 'cloudy' day in Rio seems like paradise.
