From what was said, this was warm-up show before the actual show in April. Most likely trying to find an appropriate house mix. As for the FOH mixing it was probably out of necessity. Like most bands that are doing these reunion shows,it's difficult to find "house" sound guys that know how to adjust for this type of guitar rock. When you're not touring constantly, it's hard to find and probably justify a dedicated sound guy that knows your material. That makes a big difference.

i'm a nobody and will never achieve 1/1000th of the brilliance that you or MSB have mr. koslen....but mixers at FOH? guitarist tweaking mid song? lyrics at FOH?
you are much better than this...tell me to fuck off if you like, and that would be fair, but this is detracting from the amazing legacy as far as I am concerned.
