2009 - 2011 STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• The Canton Public Library will take a user-driven approach to refining
and redefining its resources, programs and services.
• The Canton Public Library will produce dynamic, focused programs
that provide value to the community and leverage partnerships with
local groups.
• The Canton Public Library will service the community by being a
conduit for connections between residents and local groups, through
the awareness of needs and opportunities.
• The Canton Public Library will create a recognizable and transparent
brand by establishing and practicing its core values and mission.
• The Canton Public Library will use technology as a tool, a means to
support library values and accomplish goals
• The Canton Public Library will be good stewards of the publics funds
by implementing best practices and by encouraging efforts to increase
productivity and use resources efficiently.
