Pokemon WiFi Battle Diamond/Pearl #8 (Zaxx)Rematch

This was one hell of a fun battle against my good friend Zaxx. Got to use a whole bunch of guys I don't normally use and this battle turned out quite epic.

Ok. That bannette of his is very annoying. My mistake was letting him paralyze my medicham which would have saved me later. I was actually surprised that it took that STABed Psycho cut like a beast, even from something with medicham's shear power.

Haha. I actually called the critical on my lanturn. I just knew I was gonna lose for some reason and sure enough, he gets the crit and that changes the whole game. Just goes to show how a little luck can go a long way, especially at a crucial part of the battle.

Hell of a fun game, and I know I'll have more battle against you in the future Zaxx. Many at school too haha.

Great battle, the hax with the crit kinda suck, but it happens to the best of us I guess. So yeah, great game, and subbed.

for some reason i think it would've o.0 i mean, my lanturn has survived an explosion with any means of defense. maybe i'm just a little over confident about my lanturn, i'm too lazy to do damage calcs

aha, aerial ace wasn't very effective against lanturn so I'm pretty sure it should have survived. so here, i did the damamge calcs and heres what would have happened with Scizor max ATK IVs and EVs vs a Lanturn with zero HP and DEF IVs and EVS with a Barrier up.

Defender HP: 360

Damage: 140 - 165

Damage: 38.89% - 45.83%

and if you take a look at my squishy, it has 400 HP, not 360. So I'm pretty sure it would have survived

and i forgot to add, the damage calcs are with scizor at stage 6 attack. so yep =)
