    Fedora's great! I actually like it more than Ubuntu and Mint...the developers work extra hard to make sure the OS is stable and friendly. However it requires quite a bit of workarounds after installation as it isn't directly aimed at newbies and focuses strongly on Free Software...no restricted items included. That can be fixed by installing RPM Fusion.
