4/25/10:
Being planned a week ahead, I arranged to meet up with Kyle (TrainiacProductions) in Morrisville. I became disappointed when I saw rain in the forecast for 4/25, but it still worked out okay. First we'll see YPM0-R1 switch a small siding next to the Holiday Inn Express. Then, we'll head over to Delmorr Ave. at the Dairy Queen. Of course they changed the power when I came. Today's train was led by NS GP38-2 #5269, and NS GP38-2 #5313 was trailing. Note the NS SW1001 #2105 passing behind the YPM0-1 at the beginning. Enjoy the great K3LA action!

  • It looks like the train is very unstable on the tracks at the beginning. Are they old?

  • @aocruiser-I know, it must be one hell of a ride for the crew. I have no idea how old the tracks are, though.

  • Great video Jared! Id love to see this train in person

  • @johnyboy087-Thanks, man! It's really nothing special for power usually, or horn, but the scenery is fantastic.

  • Awesome video, Jared! I'm glad we finally got to meet up. Your shots turned out EPIC! Even though it was raining, it's great you decided to stay, this is still one of the longest runs I've seen them have! I hope we can meet up again sometime real soon. Awesome shots as always!

  • @TrainiacProductions-Thanks so much. I was glad I stayed as well. I hope we can meet up soon too. I really want to show you those old CSX units. Thanks again.

  • @87STEELE No prob, and it's the scenery that im interested in. Looks real nice. But why arent there flashers or anything at the DairyQueen?

  • By the way, I apologize for not warning you ahead of time, but the symbol is actually YPMO-R1 for the weekend run. During the week it's YPMO-01. It took me a very long time and a heck of a lot of different symbols (for the longest time I thought it was YP-MOR1) before I got in contact with a former Conrail engineer and got it set straight, now knowing it's YPMO-R1. (Relief job)

  • @87STEELE Yeah I want to see them, too. I'll see if I can get out there sometime real soon

  • @87STEELE It isn't that big a deal. The audio is only a few seconds behind the video, so it's not that bad.

  • @GenesisSanctuary-Thanks, man! And oh, God. PLEASE don't tell me that...All I noticed was that it wasn't in sync for about 3 seconds or so. I have no clue why, because the video is still the original length.
