  • Just beautiful!! I have never heard this one, and as an Art Garfunkel fan forever, I have missed out! Thank you for the post!

  • You're Welcome.

  • @Gary: how right you are... there are many songs hidden on albums, B sides, in fact records that hardly sold any copies at all, but contain brilliant songs that either lay totally dormant, or surface (in one form or another) years later.. "Travelling Boy" by Art Garfunkel is the best version of this remarkable song that i've ever heard ! 5stars.

  • So True.

  • A super, super song...I love how it builds in power. What a voice!

  • So true.

  • I remember this from 1973, Loved it then, Love it today, still ! When Music was Music and not the souless Crap from Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and those of their " ilk " who will be forgotten in no time. This is Pure , Classical music that has Meaning, Depth and Soul . Sad that it seems to be lost in today's songs, for the most part. Thanks to Paul Simon, Art Garfunkel, Carly Simon and the many more from this era for their Great Music !

  • I totally forgot about this song. Played it many many many times in my LP during those days ! ! ! ! ! Gee, brings back memories of the past. Thank you so so much foe loading this.

  • This is vintage 1975.......there is nothing as original as this one....

  • A wonderful arrangement of another Paul Williams contribution to contemporary music...Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy this particular rendition.

  • Let's add another star, & make it 6. This song is most sentimental to me, it's just beautiful. I won't say that I'll be back again, cause time will only tell. So no good byes for one just passing through, but one who'll always think of you. That line rips right through me. My all time favorite song.

  • reminds me so much of my cousin, Evoy....we sung this song together a week before he passed away.......I miss him so much!!!

  • the best thing about america is its over there

  • @ChrisCurtisFan Me too.My mind becomes warm.

  • 35 years ago, when I was fifteen years old,I ofen listen this beautiful song that flowed from the radio. .Thanks for opportunity to listen Art Garfunkel voice again.I feel happy and recalled that junior high school age with this song.

  • I can remember hearing this on FM radio in early '74 around the time the album was relased. This was the first song off of this album I had heard. It's no less than an epic recording with incredibly beautiful orchestration that includes a pipe organ. And Art's voice is one of a kind. Beautiful!
