  • I've just started getting into 78's and I've been searching tirelessly for this record! I envy you!

  • The Mills Brothers are some of the greatest singers ever. I have been listing to them for over 30 years. I have most of their records. Too bad they didn't get the attention they deserved, in total that is.

  • you sold me at four boys and a guitar..

why doesn't everyone know about the brothers mills?

  • Awesome, thanks for posting! The Credenza sounds great.

Part of the Mills Brothers' arrangement, where they "sweep up" in unison, is unmistakably from a Duke Ellington arrangement of the same, or simliar, song a couple years earlier! (Duke's stuff from 20s - early 30s ROCKS, I've bought & begged 78, CD, vinyl, & tape copies of almost ALL 460 of his sides in Rust's discog up through '42...)

  • Great recording! And think of the money the studio saved by not having to pay musicians to get this recording done!!

    lolol
