Yeah, especially when a particular tune requires a lot of notes in sucession. Beautiful sound.... It's just that some of the notes clash when they overlap.

@DSlam Not sure I was clear with that. A lot of people play these with their hands, rather than mallets. It would be a skill you'd need to acquire, but I'm certain you can easily mute a ringing note by touching it with your hand. On the other hand, with a structure like this you're going to get sympathetic vibration; the more you play, the more the other notes are going to ring gently, and muting all of them would be hard.
