47 years later that Lear is still the sexiest, sleekest business jet around. 6,000 fpm climb. Even a Gulfstream doesn't come close as far as looks are concerned.
We should all have a toast to the genius and perseverance of Bill Lear.
BTW there was a story in 2008 of Sinatra's Lear 23 - N175FS - a salvage company bought it for $45,000 and then looked into the history - what a history and what a story. It is on the web.
I enjoyed watching this video.... there's not much 23 around nowadays, thanks for posting!
