True, but I also mean us doing our voting. Looking back, these songs now having grown on me, I have no idea what I was thinking giving 6 points to Austria.

Yes, I gave Carlos a high score (not a 12, mind you), but he still came out last. I think Tonicha's tune was the only other 70's Portuguese entry I gave points to (again, a high score).

They may have faced tough competition from France for a large part of the voting, but in the end Brotherhood of Man's cute choreography won the day, giving the UK their 2nd victory in our polls. Also notable: our Mariza finally getting her proper due after all these years, and, on the other hand, Portugal's last place, their 4th in a row! (quite undeserved, I think - esp. for such a moving song with such a strong performer)
