  • Only for oldtimer and US-car meetings or just cruising when the weather is nice. Mostly when I`m hot of V8 sound.

  • Wow...unrestored, with original 322 "Nailhead" V8 and Dynaflow AutoTrans? It's even got that rare gas tank door trim (2.10). I wish my '56 Special 4 door was as nice. My cousin east of Berlin wanted me to trade it for his '58 Opel Rekord... I told him my Buick won't leave Kansas! Thanks for posting the vid!

  • I didn`t know that this gas tank door trim is so rare. I have one of this trim as a spare in my "stock".

  • Ach! So that's where the video was taken. Awesome! How the hell were you able to get such a nice American car into Germany? I can imagine it'd cost you lots of money to register the car! I love how the car keeps up with Autobahn traffic without problem.

  • To register the car is not realy expensive roughly 300 dollar for tax and 160 for insurance. Sorry for the late answer.

  • nice video on a beautiful 56! where was this filmed!

  • This was filmed in bavaria germany Thanks

  • Man i'm going to come in germany just to hear the sound of the V8 and to see that beauty! Be ready i'm coming from italy!

  • A rare site in Germany I would imagine. Beautiful old car though. Not quite up to european handling standards even of the 50's I imagine but that was not really the point. That V8 engine sounds nice though and is running like a top. The record player is certainly a novelty. The fact that it can play without skipping is a feat in itself.

  • whoooowwww

    what a car, love it,

    you come frome germany right?

  • Wow that's fab

  • My favorite cars were the '55 and '56 Buicks. My father sold Buicks from '49 until the end of '57 when he became ill with lung cancer--he passed away March 17, 1958 when he was only 59. One of his favorite cars to drive was a blue and white '55 Roadmaster sedan with factory AC. The last car he drove was a '56 Special sedan with Novi AC out of the back. I'm attaching a video of my '56 Cadillac driving through Cameron Park in Waco, TX.

  • No problem. Nice car. Do you drive it everyday or just some times?
