This is good Stephen.
I too am Stephen. Langham.
Anyways.
Very nice style. I would love to hear this blasting at a club in Florida-USA.

cool! good job!

Nice! Clean clean mix. You should upload it so we can all take it with us!

The collaboration is excellent. I would have taken the kick loop from New Order's Blue Monday and place the guitar riff on top slightly panning with a filter delay.
Cheers from Canada!

@stephencgregory that and saying 'Dire Straits vs Justin Beiber would probably get you massive hits on this video but looks like a few crept in, lmao...
God I hate that little punk. ;)
The sample you say is from Prodigy is actually a sample from the Art of Noise and a track called close to the edit from about 1984 if I remember correctly.
They were pioneers of sampling.
By the way..real nice work..am getting my head around NI Maschine at the moment.

@bobwebb114 There's actually samples from a few different bands that Prodigy used there, in many cases Prodigy has used almost 100% samples for their tracks. If I'd said it was Dire Straits vs Art of Noise I don't think anyone would know what I was talking about.

how do you get that back and forth bass line sound that comes in at 1:07? I've heard emalkay using that a lot, but i'm new to electronic music so i don't really know how it works. thanks :)

@HunterDay10 It's a sidechain compressed bass, where the kick drum is the input to the sidechain input of the compressor - effectively causing the bass to be 'ducked'. In this case the ducking is done via the sample itself, but if you wanted to make the effect on your own bassline that's how to do it.
