All vibrato makes me vomit.

I was never really taught vibrato, I just copied other people, and apparently it worked 'cause now I'm in grade 9...but I only move the tips of my fingers and it works brilliantly ...but sometimes for a larger sound I use the little 'robot wave' type of vibrato

I see a danger in starting on the lower note and sliding to a higher pitch. Proper vibrato rotates back from the pitch level, not forward. I think her exercises will work more effectively if you start on the top note and slide back to encourage proper pitch variation.

no! that's awesome!

This is such a good idea, ive got problems keeping my vibrato going for a good length of time before it becomes uneven and not very clear. Ive tried sliding my hand up and down the strings several times and then introducing the finger and then the bow, but this technique is like another step up from that. Really interesting to see if this will work when I next practise!

that guy disects his teaching too much
the key to learning anything in music is being told the basics and figuring it out yourself through practice
that way it feels much more natural when you execute
thats how i personally feel about it anyway

Her vibrato is correct but using the word VOMIT!
Bizarre!!!

Springy Knuckles! love it!!
Ugh, I can never play my cello in shorts, it always digs into my legs and makes it look like I've got some infectious rash.

Too complicated, don't agree with that kind of vibrato, robot wave works better
