@simplysiddarth - I'm not a Met hater, but I really miss the rivalry that the Mets and the Phils once had. Are the Mets the better team? Since '01, the Phils have finished ahead of the Mets every year except '06. Where are the Mets on 9/11/2011? In 3rd place, out of the NL East and nearly out of the wild card. Where are the Phils? Holding a magic number of 7 and having the best year in their history. They are about to clinch their 5th NL East title in a row. BTW - We both hate the Squaws!

@TheSlydawg11 yeah the dodgers really showed it to the mets in this recent series... stop hanging on your world series in the 1980s and a bunch of championships that happened before you were born. theyre currently wayyyy under .500 and behind the padres who have no hitting. im glad though that the dodgers are around to make the mets ownership look great. they even put the dodgers on the espn game instead of the mets, not for a better game, but so the announcers could ream on dodger ownership..
