we weren't walking for that long when we reached our destination, It was a beautiful lake at the back of the forest, there was a small gap in the trees which the sun shined down on, revealing a pretty patch of flowers, Joeseph let go of my hand and sat down beside all the pretty flowers, i gave up and sat down next to him
"this place is beautiful" i said to him, he grinned "if you swim in the lake you reach a sort of caven, the water only really goes up to your waste, its magical" i smiled, i could imagine it. We sat and talked for a while ... the conversation went a little like this ...
Joe: so ...
Me: so ...
Joe: i think nick is falling for selena
Me: how come
Joe: *grinned* just the way he acts around her
Me: oh
Joe: so is she seeing anyone
Me: no, our father is strict against that, he has to meet them and so on
Joe: oh ... so are you seeing anyone
Me: no im not
Joe: how would you feel if i said i wanted you to be mines
Me: id be a little creeped out
Joe: but would you give it a go
Me: pfft no
After that there was only silence for 10 minutes. slowly he leaned towards me, and grabbed my face in his hands and rested his lips on mine, my heart missed a beat, i mean i wasnt supposed to be attracted to him but in that moment i was. He gently kissed me and without thinking i kissed back. i could feel the butterflys in my stomach as he pulled away and looked at me, my face still resting in his hands "and how about now, i giggled like a little girl and nodded yes, what the hell was wrong with me, how could i have fallen for the farmers son.
He held my hand and played with my fingers until i decided it was time to go back, "we're having a barbaque tomorrow afternoon from 2, you wanna be my date" he asked me, i smiled at him "id love to be your date Joeseph" he frowned "please call me joe" i chuckled "fine then joe" and with that we went back to their drive where the car was parked.
Selena and nicholas seemed to be having a good time, and i noticed 2 horses where loaded into the trailor. Nicholas was standing behind selena, his arms where around her waist, and she held onto his hands and giggled as he whispered things into her ear. Nicholas looked up and spotted me and joe walking down the drive towards them and pulled away from selena. For a second she looked hurt but then she realised why he had pulled away and blushed. Nicholas whispered 1 last thing to her and she nodded her head, kissed his cheek and got into the car
I turned to say goodbye to joe but before i realised what was happening he was kissing me again, i couldnt help but smile through the kiss, his soft lips felt somewhat good for a farmer boy and once again i found myself kissing back, when he pulled away he said "dont forget tomorrow" and i walked off, just before i got in the car i turned to him and waved like a little girl.
