The Egg Chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen and developed for the lobby and reception areas at the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in the late 50s. The synthetic shell is padded with cold foam and covered with fabric or leather resting on a star-shaped aluminium base. The shell has an adjustable tilt fitting which can be adjusted to the weight of the individual user. Designed by: Arne Jacobsen
