Sorry for talking(mute if you want)was explaining what was happening in front of me. This Storm came by surprise by ALL of us in NYC Staten Island, Brooklyn & Queens were all under a Tornado Warning at 5:51pm. The warning was issued for Staten Island originally then a out of no where was issued for Brooklyn and again out of no where issued for Queens. Yeah at the end i had to run back it approached too quickly.

  • does NYC even have tornado sirens?

  • @JKSK8ERLIVE No but with the way the weather has been between last year and the beginning of this year. I believe tornado sirens should be recommended. Already had 3 tornado touchdowns last year thankfully from the EF scale of EF0 - EF1, which they're weak ones.

  • @Ecw4Lyfe yeah NYC should at least have sirens even after what happened on 9/11 for terrorism/ air raid/ and nuclear, etc thats whats OWS (Outdoor Warning Sirens) are for but different places use them for diff purposes some use them for tornadoes, some for volunteer fire calls, some for tsunamis (Hawaii), and even prisons have them we have 112 located throughout the city
