The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO), an organization dedicated to serving as the voice of asbestos victims, announced an online awareness campaign designed to spread the word about the dangers of asbestos. The effort centers on a powerful educational video that can be easily forwarded through e-mail. Through a "viral marketing" effect, the e-mail ad aims to save lives by raising awareness about the widespread use of asbestos, which takes 10,000 lives annually in the United States alone.
I have an Uncle with an asbestos related cough/lung blockage. It was banned in Australia in 2003, he got it in 1999

Another powerful video from ADAO. I have seen another ADAO video and I really commend their efforts to prevent asbestos exposure, help with treatment, and raise awareness in general.
