That's nursing behavior. A cat sees her owner as her mother. Dogs see you as pack leader. This is actually normal. Your cat loves you. That dough-kneading thing she does is to stimulate the milk paps. Just part of the instinctual behavior. Don't be creeped out by it. Don't try to change it. It's instinct.

She might have been weened to early, cats like to kneed things when they are happy and content. She's just loving you thats all.

My cat did it for her whole life. I though it was so cute when she did. Except when I lay down on the couch after a meal, my belly filled good, and she jumped up on the couch to me and started kneading my stomach. BURP!

My wife had one that used to do that. When we got married, she would always jump on my stomach and do that! That cat lived 19 years!

Funny, I just posted a video of my cat kneading obsessively... Glad to see shes remotely normal! It's the same type of fabric, and the only blanket she seems to paw like that!

Yea it sort of does but if you do a search on pixie bob my cat is identical. But she may be mixed with something else.
