@BluesRockDude Bare Knuckles and Wagner make great passive pickups. I have Bare Knuckles in my mahogany Jackson and I love them. They make War Pigs, Pain Killer, and other pickups that sound a little like the names of the songs they use. I would at least check them out. $150 to 180 each, I think. They're hand wound and it seems to work.

@jesterraj I don't think the g major has a lot of amp models in it. TC electronics are usually high quality, but maybe not enough distortion.

@kissmyaxx a lot hotter than burstbuckers they sound warmer in my opinion and the sound in this demo is dead on sounds just like them unlike other demos i hear

i have these pick-ups in a 1990 les paul custom they sound really good to my ears a very smooth full distorion miles above emgs i had a 81 and 85 set-up they are very sterile and flat

great playing and great sound with the Suhr pups .. another great set of pup's are the Rebel Yell by BareNuckle.. i'm sure they would sound great also on your system your using ..

I think you sold me on these Suhr Aldrich pickups. I'd like to here them with a dumble preset or pedal. Thanks for the stellar videos for all of us gear heads. I have a hotrodded jb and jazz in my les paul at the moment.
