Torchlight - Alchemist Summoner Gameplay [HQ]

Just a short clip of myself playing my level 27 alchemist on Hard in Torchlight. Mainly demonstrating how useful just one level of phase walk is. I installed the respec mod so I might put more points into it but so far I've been stacking into all my summon related skills and Ember Sentry.

You might notice my defense is unnaturally high. I discovered that you could duplicate items... so I made a bunch of armor gems. However, I'm still getting owned in two hits by some mobs so it has made little difference. Thinking of removing them so I could say I'm getting owned legitimately. :D

I'm using a rifle because I came across a unique with some decent buffs to summons. For some reason I seldom come across any wands; my storage is filled with dex/str uniques.

You need more minions =/

did you know you can spam the skeleton skill like 5-6 times? (dont remember how many you could have out at one time)

Also, the skeleton archer skill is also pwnsome, even tho they are pretty easily killed, they can dish out really nice dmg.

@kiveynen yeah you just have to be less brazen as the alchemist :) Take it a little more slowly, one inch of screen at a time. Also, try different builds with the Runic respec mod. Your alchemist is still pretty dope though :D

@torment3d bit more careful huh ? !... how am i suppost to avoid all the poisen and lighning bolts in the end .. ?! and the final boss .. all the fire breath's .. impossible to "be careful" :D .. but yea u are right .. the challingind factor is good :D i tried destoyer .. way too easy ( on hardest mode)

@kiveynen just be a bit more careful. Alchemists (unless battle spec) are meant to be played from a distance - which is why I like them. They're a bit more challenging :D

I got a Destroyer, 39, at Very Hard, only mod is potion stack size and respecmod from runic games. 35 hours played :)
