I think the reason Lupe is so underrated is that people don't get it. You see most of us here understand how deep and intricate this song is, but when I play this to my friends, most of them don't get it. It's actually kind of sad that nobody really appreciates this type of poetry. People will just play a song over and over without knowing what it means or just not caring.

I love this song. I love how its so amazing an deep its hard to get at first, but when you actually LISTEN to it (which not alot of people do) its amazing. Most people listen to it for the tune.

@yeaahJOSEPH hey id love to release it as im very proud of the work we did on it but atlantic records threatened us when we tried to release it so as you can see lupe has always been at odds with his label unfortunately :(
