  • I have some questions:

    1) How is the security there? Is it safe to sleep during anyones stay?

    2) How is the room service?

    3) When you take a shower how does the water stay in the shower stall and not get the floor and the toilet wet?

  • answers: 1) its very secure, the door is like a submarine, and there is a reception right down the hall

    2) i didn't use it but i think its good from what i could see

    3) it did stay dry- i think its just good design- combination of angles etc

  • Can you tell us where this hotel is if we layover in Heathrow?

  • @aeroflying I am not sure of the exit but you have to go right out through customs and it is right at the terminal

  • how much did you have to pay? looks really practical (hope it is the correct word)

  • I don't remember but they charge by the hour- I think it ended up being about 30 pounds for 6-7 hours or so------ so about 1/5 the cost of a full night at a regular hotel

  • @BruceFenton well, if you go to hotels of 150 pounds per night, i find it quite expensive

  • @AvatarOfAvatar

I couldn't agree more. It's a good idea to try something at least once. If you like it, then well and good. But, if you don't at least its a story you can tell your grand kids sometime. I'm sure they'll get a kick out of it.;)

    Amazing Deals!

Hire/Rent a Car for your trip to Gatwick

  • anyone who likes these rooms must be desperate. NO AIR, never mind NO AC, yes they are like a submarine..... claustrophobic. By the time you have finished toweling down after a shower in this airless, windowless "room", you will have worked up enough sweat to merit another shower! A real rip off !

  • I used one of these at Amsterdam airport and it was full of prostitutes, and itwas cold as hell. plus the tv didnt work. i was pretty tired though. to work it.

  • make me think of portal

  • much better then a capsule hotel.. little more expensive, but more private. awesome. wish it was in america..

  • @BruceFenton

Sorry for the lateness in this reply. Well thanks for the reply. Not something for anyone that is afraid of small spaces.
