The amazing sliding squirtle

Dash foward tap up/back and hit a at the same time. I do it with tap jump off, so a split second before I hit a(like a frame) I hit jump(I slide my finger from Y to A on a GC controller). It's pretty easy when you do it this way. I need to find easy ways to do the fsmash and dsmash this way.

Doing it this way activates the shellshift as you do the usmash giving you the longest slide you can get. If you tap back then do the usmash you'll get a shorter distance(is helpful, but takes some getting used to). Also, being just a hair slow on the A will either take you a shorter distance or cause you to jump. Mix these in with your normal hydroplanes for some epic mindgames, specially for kills:).

Now for me to play some GTA IV. My GC controller is broken(the stick is ever so slightly going down/right when in it goes to neutral and its annoying me...its not to the point where Im walking right/crawling, but it does cause me to shellshift and what not when I just want to stop and various other things. I need to get a new one...

Squirtle is the best at sliding his up smash although shellshifting is different then Dacus as you can also slide grabs and down smashs

This works for all characters, and is more or less useful for some of them. If you do this with Ike, his back will face the enemy and the rear end of the attack will go forward. It increases his range not to mention is an epic mindgame. :D
