@sjeannep being to look either down or up to, and the civil rights movement wouldn't have started in the first place as well. I know i've typed a lot, and I don't wish to argue. I'm just hope to fully state why whether anger is natural emotion or not, it is not good. Yes it is an energy, but it is cold, destructive, and stagnant. No movement or helpfulness. Some know how to use it in the right ways and see it differently i.e. art, music, etc. but I only see it as a barrier between humans and

@sjeannep positive form. With anger stuck onto me (along with all those emotions that come along with it) I felt like I was drowning. With all of that said I really don't believe that practicing universal LOVE and mindfulness by not letting that powerful emotion get the best of you is causing ugliness at all. If you really think about it, if humans stopped using anger/fear/greed against one another and just related to one another than there would be no tyrant to overthrow in the first place, no

@sjeannep and not regret as in guilt but regret as in this is not okay - causing others and yourself suffering. I am not denying anger, I am just interested in NOT suffering, not holding grudges and fighting and many MANY other things. @sjeannep I don't think that having anger feel toxic has anything to do with guilt. When I and anyone else get angry we become destructive whether it's verbally, physically, mentally, to themselves, to others. Not one single positive thing can come from anger. It causes tension in your body, a discomfort, it alters your state of mind. Allowing yourself to be angry whenever it just "feels natural" is like putting blinders beside your eyes. From what i've seen anger is often followed by regret

Anger is not hatred. Anger is a normal response to injustice. If it feels toxic for you, I think you probably have issues to deal with regarding guilt. Anger fueled the civil rights movement, anger fueled every revolution against any tyrant. There are misuses of anger, but there are misuses of fear, sadness, even happiness. Anger is an energy. What you do with it is either for good or for maliciousness. Stop denying anger. It is another form of repression that is causing ugliness in our world.
