Dual Driveshaft welder fully Automated .
Integral Automation Systems, Inc. manufactures Dual driveshaft welding systems for the driveline industry. Below is a description of the welder we offer.

To get an idea of cycle time to weld two driveshafts 3 ½ diameter takes only forty seconds. The driveshafts can be the same length and diameter or two different lengths with two different diameters. The welder also has a single shaft option for custom, prototype or small production runs. Our driveshaft welders are successfully manufacturing driveline products in many North American driveline manufacturing facilities. This unit has exceeded all expectations for quality and production. The machine is totally enclosed for automatic operation and operator safety.

Our unit uses four independently controlled welding systems for adjustability. The upper and lower work holding units are completely independent of each other to allow for maximum, as well as minimum capacity on each unit. Each welding station can hold 12 to 144 in length driveshafts and 1 to 8 diameter shafts. The weld tips are fully adjustable in each of the three axes, up and down, left to right, and front to back. The carriage adjusts quickly and easily to the desired length of the upper and lower driveshaft, once set the carriages will need no further adjustment and the automated cycling can begin.

This system utilizes an over and under welding system to keep floor space to a minimum. When auto cycle begins, a protective shielding curtain will come down, an automated cylinder extends to clamp the shaft, welding the shaft begins. At the end of the cycle, the welders will turn off, the protective curtain will rise, and the clamping systems will retract. The operator can easily unload and reload the system for continuous cycles. This system will also allow only the upper or lower, as well as the right and left welders to be isolated for single unit operations.

Our company realizes that cost reduction efforts are one of the most important aspects for industry today. This system has been proven to increase production while reducing manufacturing cost. This welder was engineered to eliminate product defects increase production and minimize set-up time. Set-up time to adjust for different lengths takes 5 minutes. If upper and lower tooling change over is necessary this set-up from start to dual welding is less than 20 minutes, thus making it a valuable asset for today's marketplace. We also offer another model that has significantly higher production capabilities.

We currently have a sold unit here that can be used for demonstration. This unit is due to ship in 30 days. Contact James Fritz for any questions about the welder for pricing information contact Jerry Greer.
