The funny thing is, by now you'd think those two would know better. The doorknob has a string attached to it, and they hear a loud noise comming from upstairs. "Oh, of course its not another trap!"

@CraigPhilipMyBeer Probably because ABC Family thought it was too "scary" for younger viewers. Oh please, I've been watching Home Alone 2 since Kindergarten back in '97 and this part always cracked me up! ABC Family also cut-out the part when Kevin was on top of the observation deck of the World Trade Center's Twin Towers. Okay, ABC Family, I know you were being very considerate to the 9/11 families and victims, BUT COME ON NOW, 9/11 WAS NEARLY 11 YEARS AGO!
