Really basic, but he's caught on quite quickly! I've learned that if I cue the next 'touch' to early and he hasn't finished his last bite, he'll still come but he won't actually touch it until he's done. He has a moment of A.D.D (surprise?) after I cue prematurely and stares at the skylight for a minute. :)

  • What do you sue as a treat for a lorikeet?

  • I started with grapes but it was hard to give small pieces. Now I use slivers of apple or pear. He actually works well off verbal praise as well!

  • can u tell me why my bird hates its cage can u guys tell me how to make it like its cage becoz all it does is scream to come out

  • @lavarosu same with mine! all he wants to do is sit on my shoulder and chew my ear, also when playing with him he just wants to attack my hands (just playing, he is really friendly). do they grow out of this? How is yours now?

  • @cydney1220 Honey in a syringe works really well. My lori, Cheeky, goes crazy for it! which is also perfect for training. (u can see my video of it)

  • Thanks for that. I've got an olive rainbow lorikeet I want to clicker train him.Looking for some treats that work well.
