  • Sadly, this could never really happen because DNA can not remain intact for such a long period of time. But we can tweak existing genes in birds, turning dormant genes back on to make long absent traits reemerge.

  • @MelyssaAKASkittlez I hear that. I'm also interested in thinking abt which overarching "traits" multiples or combinations of birds take on while flying in flocks, i.e., operating as a unitary metabolic organism.
