  • Do you use anti-spatter spray to keep from messing up the table?

  • @MCTeck I use Pam cooking spray,,,cheap, no MSDS , and it works great.

  • So, after that first set of tacks holding the square tubing and all the bars, you ran a bead along the top of the square tubing joint. In my pretty limited experience, that tubing will lift up and it may be square in one plane, but it won't be flat anymore. That outside piece of square usually seems to sort of twist upwards towards the weld.

At least, that always seems to happen to me.

  • @hypnolobster good call, but I had tacks on both top and bottom...I must have edited that part out.

  • I want a table like that. Just tell me they are good for hobbyists that hardly ever weld and don't ever get paid for it and Ill order one right away!

  • Base model w/o tooling and smaller then jodys table starts at 1800 I believe. For tooling I'd imagine its double

  • what does one of those setups cost? I looked at the stronghand tools website, and there are no prices on anything. doesnt have to be exact, but roughly the amount for the setup with clamps and such that you are using here. thanks.
