I enjoy your urban sketches greatly. I also really enjoy this slightly more 'natural' scenery since I too live in So Cal.
I enjoy WC painting but have never had any training. When you are applying color wash to the sandstone bluff has the page been pre-wetted or are you just applying a wet wash to a dry page? I like the mottled look you get with your color. Too many times my color is more uniform than I would like. Thanks for your time.
