I noticed that too.
I couldn't help but keep thinking...
A phone? A corded phone? Is it 1930?
Kind of a shame they're not using real money. You learn more when it's your own. Easy to lose someone else's money, but when it's money from stuff you sold that you really really liked...
You bet your ass you'll learn!

@MrRokkafella Brokers can give advise. Retail clients, stress the word RETAIL once more, get advise from brokers all the time if they opt in. The problem is, of those traders there only a few of them think like traders. The others are retail guys who will never make cash.

@jambojamboify it's all paid for. he will profit only,

They act like Lex has a lot to lose. It's not like he's not getting paid for the show..
the only mistake van damme made was not starting these people off with smaller size, so that they could just learn how to win and build confidence. forget about making money per se. just learn how to make gains and take losses...no matter the size. they had to psychologically learn how to lose.
trading is ALL about knowing how to take losses properly. any idiot can have a winning trade. but if your losses are ten times bigger than your wins, then you're just straight up gambling.

Everybody who´s whining about them wasting so much money - don´t be so naive!!! THIS 2008 - why do you think Lex still makes them CALL the broker to place orders? Because their orders never make it over the trading desk - this is TV!
