  • Great idea, congratulations.

As a long term resident of the Shonan area here in Kanagawa I would be happy to spread the word. If you have any fliers in Japanese I could email please forward them on somehow with my YouTube username.

    Great stuff,

    Aussie in Fujisawa

  • @skneylon

    Thanks very much.

just emailing the website address itself would be great, thank you!

  • This is probably one of the best ideas I have seen or heard in the past 2-3 years.... this is genius! If the site gets enough attention and nearly all the English friendly businesses sign up, traveling and living in Japan for a short amount of time will be a pure joy :D

  • @ChristopherWachtler

Thank you, that is my plan.

Lots of businesses are listing already.. but I need help to spread the word!!

Please favorite this video and spread it around!

  • this guy looks like Archie Bunker

  • @GimmeKitty Always best to learn their language and ways rather than insist on being US in such a foreign place.

  • I would rather encourage people / foreigners who come to Japan and want to STAY to live there to want to assimilate rather than to want to stick out by speaking English, you know?

  • you have a great voice lol

  • This is one thing that scares me. I will be moving to Japan in approx 3 years. I started learning Japanese using Rosetta Stone, which works great, but since starting up in college for English teaching abroad, I do not have the time to learn the language. Luckily, my wife is Japanese; I will need her by my side at all times. Are you fluent in Japanese now? Thanks for your great videos, I am a subscriber

  • Thanks a lot for your efforts, and help. I would like to know to the directory of non-English friendly establishments so me, and my friends can avoid the embarrassment, and hassle before going to these places. Thank You, and Happy New Year. (Living in Chiba) at the moment.

  • Top job!!!!!....

  • beautiful view on the background.. i'd love to have some picnic there or just walk around all that grass
