Even though this song was meant for the Vietnamese war, it has a lot to do with this war. This POINTLESS,goddamn stupid and idiotic, war. So many people died because of George Bush, so many families ruined... it's amazing how idiotic he is, to put us there. John Lennon is the most influential person in my life, I have become a pacifist because of him. This war has caused so much damage...

the war in the middle east (past and present) has caused nothing but bad. if the US would have just left the middle east alone to begin with and instead used the money spent on guns and ammo on more important things like housing and education for every human being, not one person excluded, this world would be a MUCH brighter and intelligent place to live.

@mhtube01 Do you realize how inhuman that sounds? I wouldn't call it pissing and moaning when peoples family members are getting shot at every day, fighting for YOUR freedom. So ATLEAST have some more respect for the brave men and women who have the courage to join the armed forces in a time like this. If someone you know died in a war, I don't think YOU would call your mourning "pissing and moaning." Even if you agree with the war, you have to understand that peoples families are dieing.

@mhtube01 The message of the song is that no one should fight regardless of beliefs or nationality. Everyone should be able to live in harmony without attacking each others customs, beliefs, etc. If you don't agree with that then you are un-American because America is about freedom for all people. The fact that you can say anything is impossible just shows how little faith you have in our country's abilities to make peace.
