@chefjavier Thanks. I cant wait to get my Erie Builts and 2-8-8-2 going. I think I have 6 engines (all with sound) out of about 25 that I have never run. I really want my track down!!!!

@adaribros you do have a point. Great locomotives to weathering samples.

i also agree with you.

I couldn't disagree with you more. i own a few of there standard DCC equipped line and they run very well and are also very cheap at merly 30 to 40 dollars an engine. There Spectrum line of locomotives are very well done, run well, and very detailed, they also have very good sound so unless the only engines you have ever bought from them are there train sets which are not very good though I have added a DCC decoder and relubed and cleaned all the parts which now runs very well. So.

I totally agree with you but I still need a cheap engine to practice lettering for the short line. Then I can move on to Atlas or Athearn Undecorated stuff. Plus the 70 tonner with this particular paint scheme looks awesome. Also if you search how to make it run better there are quiet a few guide.

Ive got a GP38-2 DIESEL loco and its DCC ON BOARD but i have got a DC layout so will this damage anything exceot the chip. Im not going to run it much because I am from England so I only buy English Locomotives but i would like to run it sometimes.

@nordenstation
Well if you run it normal DC it will work fine, if not better. Which is great for layouts. Also I sent you a friend request so we can talk!
