I have just looked for this and couldn't it find it. Maybe it's up here and my searching skills aren't up to much. Anyway, here it is and only now does it occur to me that out of the context of the whole show (Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle - Episode 4, Series 2) it doesn't make as much sense as it should. Oh well, the clawhammer banjo playing is quite nice.

S. Lee already thought that this song was passed it's sell by date when it was recorded. I think that's why he allowed himself get upset when the guy stands up and ruins the take. (Maybe he'd like to comment?)

  • This fits within the context of a routine on comedy because it's largely having a stab at mainstream comedians - a lot of it is a direct reference to Michael McIntyre's material. Or, rather, MICHAE-

    The more you know!

  • Thanks for upping this on it's own. It does need context though. As far as the guy walking out, I suspect it was a theme of that episode. It was called and about stand up, and he did make a few jokes about people walking out. I think Stew is clever enough to construct that kind of thing.
