Honestly, I can't stand people like you. You consciously (or subconsciously) perceive yourselves as something better than what you are JUST because you follow the news, and pay attention to politics, and live your life in a hole, and probably eat at cafés and smoke weed in your dorm room. Truth be told, superficiality could very well be reality, and people like you just live underdeveloped lives. There's a difference between WATCHING the news and living it. @justintylercarey Know what I can't stand? People who feel insulted by the truth, so they lash out with personal attacks. The fact is, what Paris Hilton does doesn't affect your dailt life. It's sensationalism.

I worked my ass off in school. I work my ass off at my job (hence why I don't have time for videos anymore). But I have NEVER Done drugs, work a good job and have a life.

I hear what your saying buddy, but unfortunately your the MINORITY in America not the majority. So many in this world let alone the US are clammering to get any little tidbit of info possible about celebs. @elwood64151 Alright. Well, people are definitely entitled to their opinions. We're clearly two very different entities carrying differing views on life and politics. You can throw your terms such as "sensationalism" at me, but that's knowledge that you've obtained and have been nurtured with by your environment. Facts and statistics aren't everything... Again, there's a difference between knowing, watching, learning, etc. and breathing, living, creating, discerning.

And it's true, it is supply and demand. People want to hear about a wonderful charmed life or a juicy tidbit (Like Rosie VS The Donald) VS the sad reality of the state of the world today.

People escape in all ways be it drugs or food or TV.

I happen to agree, I can watch the "E" channel or read one of my girly mags for Paris's latest escapades. When I want to educate myself I click on a reputable station.
