Natalie Coughlin of the United States broke her own world record for the 100 meter backstroke at the world swimming championships on Tuesday. Coughlin won the gold medal in 59.44 seconds to shave 0.14 seconds off the previous record of 59.58 she set at Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in 2002. (WCSN, WCSN.com)

  • no,I dont think Natalie would represent the Philippines (she wont even think about it) because the US team have a great reliable support for their athletes compared to Philippines(instead of supporting their great athletes they just put the money on their pockets.).

    I believe Philippines have great atheletes,but the philippine atheletes need more support than what they give to them.
