thats some great open c playin there mate.

that one rocks

@thmpick its open C, just like a standard open G tuning would be, except, the guitar was adjusted to be able to down tune all the strings so low without buzzing, and that is if I remember correctly, I may have also custom modified the strings to except this tuning before hand, I just don't remember, as I was trying all kinds of tunings at the time, and modifying them lower then what most would normally would play them at, sorry I cant be more specific, it was just what I did that day

@BillyIver i'm just starting to mess around with slide and my friend told me to think of it more as "making the guitar sing rather than playing it." just thought i'd share that haha
-
@Joowhahn it's really based on preference since you get different sound from each. you'll get a more twangy tone with a metal slide compared to a glass one.

Nice slidin'!

Great! Slide guitar is cool!
I recentrly bought a bottleneck, but I'm not really used to it. You play really cool, blues is great. Keep up the good work!

Thanks, I love slide also, I dont have a bottle neck here to try again, tried one a long time ago and I couldn't get the nack for it so I went with crome slide, I should try one again.
Thanks for the compliments, Peace and rock on Brother

So a crome slide plays better?
I'll sure give that a try. Thanks!

It was easier for me to use, might be the thickness reason, not sure, but glass slides do sound great,
If you dont know, make sure you drag some fingers behind the slide to dampen the stings on the back side, you'll hear the difference, its like night and day, there are also some good slide lessons on youtube here and there like KeniLeeBurgess whom you might might to check out, and a few others,
Peace
