@pathfinder69 yeah I'm a 110 freshman and I didn't get to go, there are about 230 members in the band. It would cost $250,000 for the 110 to have gone to the bowl game and thats not including housing and food. The school only reseived $750,000 to pay for everything, and they couldn't afford to spend more than a quarter of that for the band to go. Believe me I wanted to go but oh well.

I thought the whole point of going to these bowl games...at least for OU who's not going to a premiere big money BCS game....was to make a big impression on a national stage? We only brought half the band? I thought they were the Marching 110, not the Marching 65. WTF? My local Middle School looks more impressive on a field. Jeeze. But I bet every red-shirt no-way-in-hell-I'm-ever-getting-into-the-game football player made the trip, didn't they? So sad. :-(
