Too bad your 01 GT is still a wimpy ass 4.6 sohc that puts out 260 hp stock. Try comparing a 2001 Camaro with your 2001 mustang. Should've gotten yourself an ls1 camaro for the same money, cheaper insurance, higher gas mileage, and yet it has 90 more hp.

@Hellz420 GT's are fine, but if I was to buy a 01 mustang it would have to be the SVT model.

@Bbdrew Granted my '92 RS was probably run hard before I had it. I bought it with 120K miles on it. But the '01 SS I bought had only dealer miles on it and I was the first owner so I don't know what to say about that. The dash even squeaked on the test drive. Granted the ls1 motors were pretty tough. Have a buddy with a 2002 WS6 and he's scared the shit out of me a couple of times. Will give them one thing, they do have a hell of a top end.

@StandardRacing you must of bought something ragged out. It's pretty damn known the SBC motors willl last forever properly maintained while the 2v's will pop headgaskets/crack intake manifolds not to mention only making like 280-300rwhp with bolt ons and cams lol, just to keep up with a bone stock ls1.

@Bbdrew And then have everything start falling apart just like my '92 RS and my '01 SS. Will never own a Camaro again. Had 2 of them, 10 years apart, took excellent care of them and they still went to hell. Owned a '04 Mustang GT and never had a single problem with it except for a broken tail housing that resulted because the previous owner ran over something that bent the driveshaft.
