I'm 17, and currently in the process of reading your article. That bit about the student council activist just made me laugh, because I was one too and I was class president last year haha. I can pretty much relate to all of this article, as I am nowhere to be found on the social hierarchy because I'm kind of a floater between cliques haha.

there aren't really any 'cliques' i guess (maybe it's a tad different in Canada lol) but I too was the same. I was well known mainly for sports and as a leader in school but was a floater between many groups of friends.

hi maryb im only 16 but reading your article made me happy, times have changed and Im a very different person than you were in high school but i adore how i can still relate to you and look up to you. you are a lovely person and my day can be horrible but you still manage to put a smile on my face.
