Just a Piece of Cloth is a 34-minute documentary by Rosemary Henze which features four San Francisco Bay Area Muslim women from diverse backgrounds as they talk about what hijab, the traditional Muslim headscarf, means to them and how it affects their daily lives. The video includes women who are originally from Jordan, Iran and Indonesia, as well as an American-born recent convert to Islam. With humor, seriousness, candor and sincerity they speak from personal experience about this often controversial garment.
