June 13, 2010 - The lad has RUSH in his mind and is bound and determined to perfect YYZ from start to finish. He's almost there too.
I think Neil Peart would be proud.
You see, we've been listening to the 2 new RUSH tracks that were released recently PLUS the whole family went on a road trip on the weekend to go see the documentary "Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage" in the theater in Moncton.
With all of that talk about RUSH and YYZ the Drumming Wonderboy came home inspired to perfect it.
I thought this was worthy of another recording for our friends and family to see.
I'm sure we haven't seen the last of YYZ or RUSH in these videos.
We hope that you like it! :)

Take Care,
Tim and The Drumming Wonderboy \m/

  • Only needed to see this one video to know that he will have no problem working as a drummer for any band that needs one!!! Major label band I mean.

  • @6superb9 Thanks for that. I hope is is able to make a go of it. He really enjoys himself when he's playing.

    Stay well.

  • Pretty cool Tim! How long has Al been teaching him?

  • @lonnieljones About 3 years now. He had another teacher but only for a month or so.

  • good drumming dude! keep practicing the double bass drum, take about 5 minutes every day and just jog on the pedal until you feel the burn in your leg. trust me it helps alot! ive done that every day for the past 4 months and my speed on the pedal increased greatly!

    keep up the drumming!

  • The only drummer ever to ride in the Mufflermobile! Sounding awsome.

  • Boo's playing is like a good wine - improves with age! (Not that I would know since I don't drink at all, haha...)

Looked like he was having a lot of fun - never seen him do so many facial expressions! If he had gum he would have lost it in the set...:)

  • A testimonial to Al's teaching ability with a raw talent and desire to play. Perfect combination!
