Hextall was a loose cannon. Really no need for this type of dirty play. Plus hate to say it but Hextall only had a few good seasons, not worthy of the hall of fame in my opinion. Just a goon.

@dragonbands2 You could say that about Patrick Roy or Dominik Hasek. They were just as crazy. One play like this should not make or break ones entrance into the hall of fame. Especially when there careers were as good as that of Ron Hextall.

I am convinced Hextall had some sort of mental illness. Nonetheless, he was a true Flyer legend. God threw out the mold after he made Hexy, that's for sure...
