"I felt that I could identify with 'Border Song', it reminds me of when I first met Elton - I could feel a way of doing it; with a horn section in a bluesy kind of way. Everything I have ever heard Elton and Bernie write has moved me at the time - moved me, encouraged me and inspired me - everything" - Eric Clapton

  • @slapstik89 well some of it did

  • @the81kid it reminds me of a "christian rock" kinda sound. Not sure whether I liked it or not.

  • This is a bit too jiggy for Border Song! Sounds like he's smiling and drinking whisky or somethin!

  • Great

  • i had this album..i loved it..

  • When I saw a commercial for this album on TV back in '91, they played about 5 seconds of this song with a video of Eric doing the solo. That's when I picked up a guitar for the first time.

  • @LowDeath23 The name of the album is Two Rooms.

  • @billyf2770 I do think so!
